Its that time of year again, the annual ASCC conference is on May 7-9th in Fremantle and the Avenir team have put together a jam packed schedule. We have presentations on new active ingredients, natural waxes and product protection as well as workshops to help to create colour products. Below is our schedule. Borealine Protect Hair is a true Biomimetic concept. Trees have developed high tech biotechnology compounds to protect themselves against climate change by synthesizing highly active biocompounds found in their bark. These same biocompounds can protect hair colour. Borealine Protect offers consumers perceivable protection against colour fading of dyed hair tresses and hair colour protection from damages caused by environmental factors. At 0.5% in a leave on conditioner hair colour fade was reduced with UV exposure and protection after 20 washes.
Last week the Avenir team including our wonderful extended team from our suppliers attended the 50th Australian Society of Cosmetic Chemists conference in Canberra. We had so many fruitful meetings and catch ups with our customers and a lot of fun too. Our stand was "Gatsby" style to go with the Golden touch of beauty theme of the conference. We also hosted a "Colour Cosmetics made Easy" workshop which was hosted by our flamboyant and fabulous Armelle. This was a fun and educational workshop which we all enjoyed.Â
